Press Mates — Customer Policies (Phase 0)
Returns & Refunds Policy
Press Mates produces DTF transfers to order based on customer-supplied files.
Because all products are custom-printed, returns and refunds are not accepted for reasons including, but not limited to:
- ordering errors
- incorrect sizing
- color expectations
- artwork issues
- changes of mind
Refunds are issued only in cases where Press Mates determines that a production defect occurred (see Reprint & Defect Policy below).
Reprint & Defect Policy
Press Mates will reprint an order only if a verified production defect is present.
A production defect is defined as:
- print errors caused during production
- material defects that affect usability
- damage incurred prior to shipment
The following are not considered production defects:
- file resolution issues
- artwork quality issues
- incorrect dimensions selected
- color differences due to file preparation
- application errors after delivery
All defect claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery, including clear photos of the issue. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for review.
Press Mates’ liability is limited to reprinting the affected portion of the order. Refunds are not issued for production defects.
File Responsibility Disclaimer
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all submitted files are production-ready prior to ordering.
Files are printed exactly as submitted. Press Mates does not provide:
- design services
- layout assistance
- file correction
- creative adjustments
While files may be reviewed for basic production readiness, this review does not guarantee print results or replace customer responsibility.
Files that do not meet minimum production standards may be rejected before printing.
Application & Use Disclaimer
Press Mates supplies DTF transfers only. Application methods, garments, heat presses, and settings are outside of Press Mates’ control.
Press Mates is not responsible for:
- application errors
- garment damage
- improper pressing
- post-delivery handling issues
Customers are responsible for applying transfers according to their own production standards.
